■APPLICATIONUVC Ozone Aging Tester is newly designed to evaluate rubber deterioration in an ozone test chamber and tomeet the requirement of JIS K 6259 “Testing methods of resistance to ozone cracking for vulcanized rubber”.The test method is specially modification of JIS, ASTM and other standards. In conventional test standards,ozone concentration is periodically measured by chemical analyses with a mechanically complicatedapparatus. These operations require a great deal of labor and time. Original Toyo Seiki idea, this OzoneAging Tester employs ultraviolet (253.7nm) absorption sensors for detecting ozone concentration and amicroprocessor for analyzing and controlling total measurement. Easy-to-operate and labor saving machine.,■FEATURES A digital ozone concentration readout as well as a recorder are provided for sequence monitoring. Digital settings and indications assure easy operation. Both ozone concentration and temperature are very accurately and continuously controlled by PIDcontrollers and their recoveries are remarkably quick. A test chamber is constructed of stainless steel SUS 304 with silicon baking finish to minimize reaction toozone. Safety operation – Error indications on the digital display tell the place of malfunction. A ozone decomposition tower can be installed in the funnel for the prevention of environmentalcontamination (Option).
