The SS series chamber line simulates accelerated environmental weathering testing via a tightly controlled solution consisting of water/sodium chloride (NaCl) with humidity inside the testing chamber. This testing allows customers comparative results testing or commonly known as ‘quality audit’ comparison between a number of samples. The SS series is available in (4) sizes, SS600, SS1000, SS1300 and 3000 with economical mode available in SS600e and SS1000e. All equipment built to UL508a standards. The SS series equipment is designed to meet all major international standards including ASTM B117 (SS), ISO 9227 (SS, CASS, AASS), ASTM B368 (CASS), ASTM G85-A1 (AASS), JIS Z2371, MIL, and other standards to meet customer requirements. Equipment is built with double wall fiberglass ensuring low maintenance. Special sizes available are upon request.

CCT (or cyclic) chambers provide the closest comparison to “real world” laboratory testing for naturally occurring corrosion. Specimens under test are exposed a series of different environments such as: Salt Fog with humidity, saturated humidity, dwell, Test time, atmospheric conditions, recipes are all controlled by PLC/touch screen including diagnostics and alarms. All equipment is built to UL508a standards. Unlike salt spray testing, CCT testing correlates closer to realistic, naturally occurring conditions, but with a setup change this equipment can also test under Prohesion type testing as described by ASTM G85 A5. The CCT series is designed to meet strict construction protocaul cited by ASTM, DIN, ISO, JIS, MIL and other standards. When a rubber-laden composite material is vulcanized under pressure, bubbles are generated within the material due to insufficient vulcanization in the final phase of the process. The blow point stands for the minimum vulcanization level required for eliminating the existence of these bubbles. To make a product with no bubbles in a shorter time of vulcanization, it is very important to measure the blow point. The blow point may change according to the composition, mixing method, temperature conditions, etc. of the rubber-laden materials. Therefore, it is necessary to make measurements very frequently during quality control of vulcanized rubber, research and development of rubber composites, and other operations.
