Despite its compact size, the MC series can achieve low temperatures of -75 or -85°C the lowest range of it's class. On the high end, 100 or 180°C can be reached, depending on the specific model. The interior size of the MC series is 2.2 cubic foot, same as model SU-662 and slightly larger than BTZ-133 BTZ-175.
The main benefit of the MCs over our other benchtop models is the unmatched low temperature range and the touch-screen programmer with USB.

The new BTZ-4200 takes advantage of compact, modern scroll compressors to bring fast temperature cycling to small form factor. The chamber can cycle temperatures at rates up to 15°C/minute without requiring cooling water or liquid nitrogen.
The faster cycle times can be used to meet more aggressive test methods that require thermal stress during transitions. Significant test time can be saved in completing tests, as well.
To demonstrate performance, ESPEC uses the international standard IEC 60068 3-5 measured at the supply air. Temperature cycles are run from hot to cold extremes, and the middle 80% of the transition is timed to determine performance. Your actual cycling results will vary depending on methodology, including the start and end temperatures, and the amount of samples loaded.
The BTZ-4200 is based on our space-saving Criterion benchtop series. The overall footprint is just 31" x 45". Because it is so small and only requires only electrical utilities, it may be the ultimate portable temperature cycling chamber.
